10/16/2026 Principal Notes

Posted Date: 10/16/26 (04:00 PM)

Here are our notes for the week:

Students enjoyed the Great Apple Crunch on Wednesday where they were treated to a fresh locally grown Apple! (See the attached picture of some Grade 5 students chomping on their apples.)

As the weather is getting cooler our lost and found is filling up with sweatshirts, if your child is missing something, please have them check there or call the main office and we can check.

Our next PTA meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 20th. Please note that the location will be at SHS. Participants should come in the front main doors at SHS and will be greeted there to the location of the meeting at the High School Conference Room.

PTA will be hosting Trunk or Treat next Friday at Barron on October 23rd from 6:30-7:30pm. They are looking for candy donations to help with the event. If you would like to donate candy there is a “candy monster” can in our front entryway for collecting donations! Any donations would be appreciated.

To help keep your household safe, the Salem School District is sponsoring a Cybersecurity Awareness for NH Parents and Teens—a fast-paced, practical session on how to spot and stop online crimes targeting local families hosted by Jason Sgro & Laura Munyon from the Atom Group. This event is Thursday, October 29, from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Seifert Performing Arts Center and is Free. Bring your teen along so you can build your family's safety plan together.
