Reminder for Back to School Night:  
Our Back to School Night will be held tonight, Monday, August 31st.  Students are able to view their new classrooms from 5:00-5:30.   This is a great time to take pictures in the classroom.  From 5:30-6:30pm our PTA will host a family time outside.  Come by and play with your friends outside on the playground!

Dates to Remember:  
  • Monday, August 31st Back to School Event:   Teachers will host students in their new rooms tonight from 5:00-5:30pm. This is the perfect chance to capture those special classroom photos, since families won’t be entering the building on the first day.  From 5:30-6:30, families can head out to the playground and spend some time saying hello at our PTA sponsored event.  
  • Wednesday, September 2nd First Day of School for all students.  Arrival begins at 8:30.  Please do not come before 8:30.  School Hours are 9:00-3:00.  
  • Monday, September 7th  Labor Day Holiday /  No School
  • Tuesday, September 8th is an Election Day, School is in Session and our gym will be blocked off for voting with no access to our main building.  
  • Wednesday, September 9th School Picture Day   Wednesday, September 9th School Picture Day order forms can be found here:

  • Thursday, September 17th  Barron Open House for parents and guardians.  This night provides the opportunity to meet your child’s teacher and learn about curriculum, procedures, and activities for the upcoming school year.  This is an evening for caregivers only and children do not attend.  The schedule will run at staggered times to alleviate parking and help with children in multiple grades.
    • K:  5:30-6:00               3:   6:15-6:45
    • 1:   5:45-6:15                4:   6:30-7:00
    • 2:  6:00-6:30               5:  6:45-7:15
    • 6:00-6:45   Caregivers can pop into the café for questions for staff members that are not classroom teachers such as special education staff, and specialists teachers.    
 
Online Paperwork Reminder:
As we prepare for the 2026-27 school year, we ask that families complete a once-a-year update of student and household information.
Only one parent/guardian needs to complete these forms, available on the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.  Please do this before school starts.  
Even if nothing has changed, the Annual Update forms contain important permissions and approvals required for your student to start the school year.
  
 This Annual Update is completely online and available through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.
