Principal Notes for the Last Day

One day remains and here are my last notes of the year!

• Today we had our last all school End of the Year Assembly!  It was awesome and included a special Lost and Found fashion show where many items found their way home.  After tomorrow, all items remaining will be donated.  Thank you to Mrs. Bergeron and Mrs. O’Rourke for running the last assembly of the year.  (See picture attached.)  
• Tomorrow our 5th graders will be promoted.  Our ceremony starts at 9:15. Families, please do not arrive before 8:50 in order for us to get all of our students safely inside.  
• We will clap the 5th graders out at the end of the ceremony as they walk the Barron halls one last time as Fifth graders!  
• Dismissal begins at 12:00pm. Lunches will be served.  Thank you to our families for putting in your orders early so we could be sure to accommodate everyone.  
• Report cards will go home with students. 
• Chromebooks: 
  • Students currently in grades K, 2, 3 and 4 will keep their Chromebooks over the summer.  Please keep them in a safe space so they are ready to use again when we return to school in fall.
  • Students currently in grades 1, and 5 will RETURN their Chromebooks, charger, and bag to their classroom teacher, unless they are participating in a district summer program.  They will be assigned a new Chromebook when they return in the fall.  
    

We are incredibly lucky at Barron to have such great families that support our school. I hope everyone has a relaxing and safe summer and we can’t wait to see those returning at our Back to School Night for 2026-2027 on August 31st.
