Theme Days to support Power of the Penny!

Posted Date: 02/16/26 (11:39 AM)

Our Power of the Penny fundraiser is in full swing! Our 5th-grade class is hard at work raising funds to cover their end-of-year celebrations and activities, and they’ve come up with a creative way for the whole school to join the fun.

Our 5th graders have officially voted on three special theme days for this week. Participation is easy:

  1. Bring $1.00 each day you’d like to participate in the theme days below.
  2. Add your dollar directly to your grade level’s bucket.
  3. Earn points! Each dollar counts as positive points for your grade’s total in our school-wide competition.

The Theme Day Lineup:

  • Tuesday, February 17th : PJ & Stuffed Animal Day
    • Wear your favorite school-appropriate pajamas and bring a small plush friend to class!
  • Wednesday, February 18th: Hat Day
    • Show off your favorite cap, beanie, or creative headwear.
  • Thursday, February 19th: Twin Day
    • Grab a friend (or a group!) and dress alike for the day.

Thank you for your generosity and for helping us make this a memorable final year for our 5th-graders. Let’s see which grade level can rack up the most points!
