Here are a few notes for the week:  

• Students had a great time celebrating Valentine’s Day with each other today. Thank you to our PTA for the goody bags for each student.        They have been a big hit that the students look forward to. 

• Power of the Penny continues into next week.  Students are encouraged to bring in spare change from home to help support our 5th grade end of the year activities.  Dollar bills and pennies are positive points and silver coins count as negative points.  The students are having fun dropping off the change into different grade level buckets to see who will win.  This will run through Friday, February 20th.  

• Lost and Found:  If your child is missing something, please have them take a look.  We would love to return these items to their owners.  Anything left at the end of next week will be donated.

• Due to weather this week the Barron Focus on Achievement Presentation to the Salem School Board was moved to March 3rd.  

• The Barron Talent Show will be at the Salem High School Performing Arts Center on Feb. 17th at 6:00pm.

• Wednesday, February 18th is our next PTA Meeting.
