Power of the Penny!
Monday February 9 - Friday February 20, 2026

Put your spare change toward a great cause! Power of the Penny has been an annual fundraiser for our outgoing 5th grade class to raise money to support their end of the year activities such as a trip to Camp Lincoln, Fifth grade T-shirts, and much more. All proceeds from our power of the penny fundraiser go directly to the outgoing class of Fifth graders!

Here’s how it works:

Grade level containers are located in the front lobby
Pennies and cash count as positive points
Silver coins count as NEGATIVE points to be put in other grade level buckets!
Money from grade level buckets needs to be dropped off in the morning by 9AM. Money will be counted each day as an ongoing tally and point leaders will be announced each day.

At the end of the day on February 20th, all change/points will be tallied. The grade level with the most points will be announced the following week and win a reward of your grade level’s choice!
