Here are a few notes for the week:  

• We loved seeing all the football gear in the hallways today.  It is clear that many of us will be excited to watch on Sunday.  Go Pats!

• What a wonderful Band and Strings Concert on Thursday!  The students were so excited to share what they have been working on and did such a great job.

• Kindergarten Registration for the 2026-2027 school year is open but filling up!  Online Registration Information can be found here:  https://sau57.org/register

• Power of the Penny is beginning next week, put your spare change towards a great cause!  This is an annual fundraiser to raise money to support our 5th graders in all of their year end activities.  All proceeds go directly to them.  Through the fundraiser they collect, and count all of the change that comes in.  We are sending home a flyer in backpacks today to explain how it works, be on the lookout!  

• Lost and Found:  Our lost and found is growing by the day with boots, gloves, hats, sweatshirts, and water bottles.  If your child is missing something, please have them take a look.  We would love to return these items to their owners.  

• Tuesday, February 10th, Barron School will present our yearly Focus on Achievement Presentation to the Salem School Board.  This year we have highlighted all of our efforts surrounding Raise Craze.   

• Wednesday, February 11th is an Early Release.  Students are dismissed at 1:30pm.

• The Barron Talent Show will be at the Salem High School Performing Arts Center on Feb. 17th.  More details to come.
