Here are our Notes for the week:

We had a great spirit week; it is always fun to see what everyone comes up with to wear!
We have one more day on Tuesday the 23rd. We will have a school wide pajama party as part of our Raise Craze earnings. Classrooms will be celebrating the end of 2025 before heading home for the break!
This week all of our students were able to participate in a winter paint party thanks to our PTA. We appreciate everyone who was able to volunteer their time to help make it a success. The kids loved it!
As a heads up, my understanding is that part of Bridge Street will soon be closing for construction. This may mean a change in some of our bus routes, as more information becomes available it will be shared with our families.
Our lost and found is growing again with gloves, hats, one boot, as well as coats. If your child is missing something, please have them check or reach out to the main office. We love when students find their lost items. 😊
- Items left on December 23rd will be donated.
To keep student Chromebooks secure and functioning properly, the Salem School District will be releasing Chromebook updates over the holiday break. We ask for your help in ensuring your students follow these directions so they update at home. Updating at home will avoid lost classroom time when students return. I will be sure to send reminders before we all return to school in January.

Students in grades 2 through 5 should:

Take their Chromebooks home when they leave for break
Once home, plug them into power and turn them on
If the student has previously connected their Chromebook to their home wireless, the update will automatically run,
1. If the Chromebook has never been connected to their home wireless, the student will need to login to the Chromebook and connect
2. Once connected, the update should automatically run
Once the update has completed, the Chromebook should automatically reboot
