November is a great month to think about being thankful and choosing kindness.  On Monday, we held a Raise Craze assembly to explain our fall fundraiser, which combines acts of kindness and raising money for our school.

From November 1st through November 21st our students can pay forward acts of kindness at school, at home, and in the community.  As students join together to complete these acts of kindness they are eligible for class prizes like a Prime drink test taste or Fancy Lunch.  They also will receive raffle tickets for completing acts of kindness on their own that they can enter to win individual prizes that include a hover board, Legos, and more.   

Throughout the month of November, our school community will focus on kindness and recognizing one another for doing kind deeds.  It takes about thirty repetitions to form a habit.  We are hoping each student can join us in changing our habits to make Barron school and our community a better place!  

On November 16th we will hold an Acts of Kindness Night at Barron school where students will rotate through stations creating crafts to contribute to local community causes.   During that night, we will also be collecting donations for End 68 Hours of Hunger and creating Thanksgiving meal bags to support our families in need.  It is a great night to be a Bobcat!  

All money raised through this fundraiser goes directly to Barron.  This year our funds will help complete playground projects, off set field trip expenses, support assemblies, and more!
